Then, in 2006, my dear friend (who I trust with my life), Joni Garrett, wanted to pet sit for me so I could take an occasional day off. I knew I could trust Joni to do a great job (even with my high standards) so I decided to take her up on it.

She did such a FANTASTIC job and loved pet sitting SO MUCH that she became an official pet sitter for PET PAL! And I feel so lucky to have her! She is such a delight, extremely dependable and a caring, concerned animal lover. She is a wonderful pet sitter and pet owner and just LOVES dachshunds (she has two)!  Pets and people alike love Joni!

Jenna Eakes

Because I take great pride in always being available to my clients, I decided to think about having a third person as a back up and I was fortunate once again to have someone that I know and trust, Jenna Eakes (my former neighbor who previously took wonderful care of my own pets) to help out on occasion. Jenna is a college student at Christian Brothers University and is as sweet and dependable as they come. And she just LOVES animals!  Our clients and their pets love Jenna!

In 2009, my friends Shelah & Rob Smart expressed interest in pet sitting part-time because of their love for animals and felt pet sitting would be something they would thoroughly enjoy....and were they ever RIGHT! 

Shelah actually cried when their first pet sitting job ended (after only a few days!) because she was going to miss the dogs so much!  I just knew she was a natural born pet sitter and it turns out, so is Robert!  Shelah broke her foot right after she started and Robert had to help her with her pet visits (YES, she is a trooper!  She didn't miss a visit, even with a broken FOOT!)

You will see Rob and Shelah's sincere love for animals the second you meet them.  They have one won over a number of pets who had previously never warmed up to ANYONE outside of their owners.  This just spoke volumes to me and to their owners as well.  Your pets are in good hands with Rob and Shelah.

Shannon Crafton

PET PAL continues to grow, thanks to all the referrals from our wonderful clients, so when one of my clients with extensive pet care experience and knowledge expressed interest in pet sitting herself, I was absolutely delighted and welcomed her aboard!

Shannon relocated to Memphis in 2009 due to her husband's job transfer and she contacted us to care for her pets.  After I learned her background, I was extremely honored that she chose PET PAL!  Shannon was the Executive Director at Good Mews Cat Rescue in Atlanta for almost 5 years and is currently a Clinic Assitant at the Animal Protection Association (APA) Spay and Neuter Services Clinic.   She is such an asset and I am thrilled to have Shannon!

One thing I want my clients (and future clients) to know is that I will never, EVER send a stranger to your home. My sitters are people I know and trust and it will always be that way.

I've had clients tell me over the years that I am the most dependable person they have ever known and I find that to be the ultimate compliment.  I would never tarnish my reputation by sending "just anyone" to your home.
